President / Creative Director
Eric is a rare talent who is equally at home designing creative material as he is managing customer accounts. Versatile both in his skills and in his thinking, he is unafraid to venture into new areas of marketing. He continuously educates himself on new skills, tools, and concepts to stay current with new trends and technologies.
As a graduate of the prestigious Art Institute of Boston, which is now The College of Art and Design at Lesley University in Cambridge, Massachusetts, Eric is a masterful designer skilled in the art of marrying creative concepts with outstanding graphics. As creative director, he oversees and strategizes campaigns, coordinates branding, and manages graphic designers and copywriters. Eric is the creative force behind every logo, billboard, brochure, and website design by PMI Pros. He also devises proposals to meet the individual wants and needs of each client and works in areas such as database development and client relations.
Eric brings to the table a wealth of experience as an art director, working in marketing and advertising hotspots around the country. Initially trained at the award-winning agencies Pearson & MacDonald in Boston and Advantage Vail in Vail, Colorado, he was hired as senior art director for San Francisco's Group 4 Marketing. In Boston, Eric was awarded the Silver for the coveted and prestigious Francis W. Hatch award for Promotion of Advertising Services. Eric is well traveled, having visited four continents outside North America in addition to his extensive travels within the country.
When he's not working, Eric enjoys cooking, photography, and spending time with his family. Eric and his wife have three children working professionally in their fields of study.
Vice President / Production Manager
Masumi is a graduate of the University of Central Florida with a Bachelor's degree in Writing and Rhetoric. She has been with PMI Pros for over six years and has taken on many roles during that time including social media department head, website administrator, website designer, copywriter, and asset manager. She travels between Maine, Florida, and Alaska and enjoys wildlife photography, fishing, and beach combing.
She sums likens her approach to working at PMI Pros to her love of wildlife photography:
Writing and wildlife photography don’t seem to have much in common on the surface. I spend a lot of time outside photographing nature, and taking a really close look at small creatures and plants. I tend to notice things that a lot of people overlook. I like to think I take that same approach to my work. Testing websites and apps and editing copy takes a great deal of close examination, just as wildlife photography does. With photography, I try to get the settings just right so that people can see nature from my point of view. Allowing people to see something from a new perspective is also essential in my job as a writer. I try to get my audience to see something the way our client sees it... to get them to relate to the people behind the brand and appreciate what those people have to offer the world.
Danielle is a researcher and strategist with a degree in Writing and Rhetoric from the University of Central Florida. She specializes in research and analysis and user experience strategy and copy. She believes any quality design is developed from defining a problem. Problems and people fuel her. She seeks to understand each aspect of a community or environment and works to collaborate with others to come up with solutions to make the world better.
Danielle assists in website design and administration, customer service, and copywriting. Danielle lends her knowledge of UI (User Interface) and user accessibility to help improve the websites we build.
When she's not researching or creating, she is learning more about design and development. In her spare time, you can find her volunteering or planning future adventures to new places.
Naomi is a graduate of the University of New Hampshire. She helps with customer support, website administration, and helps to fill in wherever needed. She is always personable and friendly, and is quick to learn new skills whenever she is called to do so. Naomi enjoys spending time outdoors, reading, and needle felting. She currently resides in her home state of Maine and strives to live a minimum-waste lifestyle.
Copywriter / PMI Pros Associate
Martha Maeda is a technical writer and copywriter, and the author of over 20 books including The Complete Guide to Green Building and Remodeling Your Home, Basic Guide to Investing in ETFs, How to Wipe Out Student Loans, How to Solar Power Your Home, and How to Open & Operate a Financially Successful Independent Record Label. She enjoys the challenge of developing marketing strategies for the Internet and social media. Martha brings with her depth and clear thinking in delivering copy that hits the mark.
